How soon will my order ship?

Since we print everything in house we are able to offer some of the fastest turnaround times in the industry. Once you place your order, we typically print and ship it out within 2 business days. Total shipping time depends on what shipping option you have chosen. Certain high page count books might take a few days longer.

Are you planning on adding additional photo book size options?

For 2008 we are offering the classic 8 1/2 x 11 size. We plan on offering additional sizes in 2009.

Are you planning on adding additional cover options and colors?

Yes, we will add more cover options in 2009.

For orders of ten or more books we offer a selection of additional colors and materials for your photo book cover. Please note that this will add additional production time to your order. Contact us at help@saveatreeprinting.com for color and material options or for more details.

How do you control print quality and color?

Unlike many other photo book web sites we print all our own pages at our facility on our state-of-the-art Kodak NexPresses that are calibrated daily for optimum quality output.

The desktop software manages colors and image resolution and your design files are reviewed for darkness and image resolution. If your design files will print poorly we will contact you to make corrections and re-upload.

Is the print quality as good on recycled paper?

We use only the highest quality recycled papers. The print quality is outstanding and meets or even exceeds the equivalent to any non-recycled paper on the market.

Can I see a sample of your print quality and paper?

Sure, send an e-mail with your address to help@saveatreeprinting.com and we will mail you a sample of a printed glossy or smooth uncoated sheet for your inspection.

Can I see one proof copy before you print the balance of my order?

Yes, we can make you a proof copy. Please design, order and pay for one book or calendar through the normal ordering process and save your order number. Then simply call us within 24 hours of receiving your proof and we can print the balance of your order. The proofing process is automatic on orders of 100 or more books or calendars.

Can I store my pictures on your site?

No we do not offer that service. When you download our software to your desktop, you can easily load your photos and create your project more quickly and easily than uploading photos to a site.

Do you offer non-profit discounts?

Yes, those with a non-profit taxpayer ID number should contact Amy Flynn for information about discount programs for schools, non-profits and other fundraisers - help@saveatreeprinting.com

Will you add sales tax to my order?

We will only add sales tax to your order if it ships to a California address.

Are there limitations to what types of images I can use?

Save-a-Tree Printing reserves the right to reject, at our sole discretion, any material it deems to be inappropriate, including but not limited to: any material that is copyrighted or is otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to use the material and grant Save-a-Tree all of the license rights granted herein; any material that is defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable law.
